Children's Author- DEB HOCKENBERRY

DEB HOCKENBERRY

Hello Everyone,

I hope you've enjoyed my literary few weeks and maybe even risen to the challenges of six word story, flash fiction or alliteration. For my last posting on this theme I would like to repost the blog about my colleague and friend, Deb Hockenberry. Folks, Easter is next month and if you want a different gift for children why not purchase a copy?

Giraffe wants to have a party for his friend, Chimpanzee, but there’s one problem. Where can he have the party? He turns to his three other friends for ideas. Snake, Monkey, and Elephant all have great ideas but for one reason or another, they don’t work. They think hard as they walk through Hungle Bungle Jungle trying to find the perfect place. Where can they have the party?

Deb has always wanted to write stories for children since she was a kid herself. She has taken two courses from The Institute of Children’s Literature and is a member of the online and ongoing children’s workshop, The CBI Workshop. She also won first honorable mention in the Jory Sherman Short Story Awards!
In her spare time, Deb loves to crochet, knit, and just like you, she loves to go to parties!
You can find out more about Deb at her website: http://kidztales.weebly.com. Or you can find her here:
